The Palm Springs Cultural Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is established to encourage the development of the cultural arts in the Coachella Valley with a specific focus in the areas of film, fine art, live performance, dance, music, and community festivals. The Center is dedicated to advancing education, to nurturing community-wide participation in the cultural arts, and to sponsoring scholarship awards for deserving individuals.
Weekly Certified Farmers Market To Return October 4

Popular Community Event Back for a Full Season of Produce, Food & Fun
The Certified Farmers Market, a program of the Palm Springs Cultural Center, will return this fall on Saturday, October 4, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, adjacent to the Camelot Theatres at 2300 E. Baristo Road at Farrell in Palm Springs. The Market, which debuted last February, saw an estimated 1,000 shoppers each Saturday morning buying fresh vegetables and fruit (no spray and organic). This year, the Market will once again offer cut flowers, honey, eggs, nuts, herbs, bread, cheese and plants. Additional farm vendors and weekly entertainment are planned for the upcoming season, which will run from October 4, 2008 through June 20, 2009. For more information, please call 760-322-3521.
