Mario (Antonucci) and Lino (Pellegrino) are two eighteen-year-olds friends, born and raised in the Saint’s quarter in Naples. Neither has ever stepped out of their small town. The boys lead a monotonous life, until Lino's little sister convinces the locals that she has performed a miracle and starts being worshipped as a living Saint. This sets in motion a series of events that changes the fate of her family and the entire neighborhood. It also changes the boys, and their friendship, when Mario comes to the realization that he is in love with Lino.
