Over four weeks, you’ll get a chance to hear three new plays that have never been produced before, plus a British import rarely seen in the U.S. Join us for a pre-show cocktail hour, the reading, and a short post-play discussion where you can provide feedback. Your responses will be important as we consider plays for future production.

Fleeing Honduras in fear for their lives, an undocumented grandfather is suspected of being a terrorist or possibly a sex trafficker when he swims across the Rio Grande River and arrives in McAllen, Texas with his teenage granddaughter. Placed in harsh conditions at a detention center, the grandfather pleads for asylum and discovers his granddaughter has mysteriously gone missing.
